The fire extinguishing mechanism of condensed aerosol primarily relies on chemical inhibitionof the combustion chain reaction. The aerosol-forming compound reacts with free radicals in the combustion chain reaction, thereby terminating the propagation of the chain reaction and preventing sustained combustion. Through this continuous process, the active radicals in the combustion zone are progressively depleted, leading to continuous reduction in their concentration and effective extinguishing of the fire.
